The Women of Crestwood Presbyterian Church creatively compiled their cookbook to reflect the treasured nature of their recipes. This 1954 edition contains a section for dieters as well as traditional casseroles, canapes and cakes contributed by members. It also includes one unusual recipe for Preserved Children.

Crestwood is now Christ Presbyterian Church located on Greensboro Road in High Point.
