The Furniture City Feasts : A Celebration of High Point's Food Culture and History
Caption:
The Junior League of High Point's Furniture City Feasts included a number of recipes from members as well as entire special occasion menus, as shown here. Mrs. John Adams of Sedgefield also contributed recipes for her annual Christmas Eve Breakfast: link sausage, stuffed mushrooms, eggs elegante, fresh fruits with homemade poppy seed dressing, sweet rolls and breads, and cheese toast. The eggs elegante used four boxes of Bacon Thins, a bacon-flavored cracker made by Nabisco.

In 2006, the Junior League of High Point published an updated version, Furniture City Feasts Restored. The cookbook features celebrated dishes photographed in the renovated Briles House on North Main Street, home to the Junior League.
