The parade's route followed Main Street. In this image, High Point's City Hall is visible in the left rear of the frame. City Hall, completed only the year before, in 1922, also housed the city's courthouse and the Paramount Theater. The trolley tracks visible in the foreground ran the length of Main Street and represented High Point's earliest public transit system.
