Blair Park is the oldest of High Point's two municipal golf courses. From Blair Park's establishment in 1931 until Oak Hollow Golf Course opened in 1972, it was also High Point's only public course. Originally, Blair Park was a nine hole course. It was extended to a full 18 holes following World War II. Sam Snead, one of golf's legendary players, was a guest at Blair Park in 1948.
