Object ID:
1984.024.008
Caption:
Despite the fact that home sewing was an art form which reflected unique regional and cultural traditions, seamstresses often depended upon outside industrial production and distribution networks for basic supplies such as sewing thread, needles, and pins. The Eureka Silk Manufacturing Company, for example, was a textile firm with factories in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Gift of Mrs. Katherine M. Nibblelink.
