The firm of William Crowley & Sons manufactured needles in Alcester, Warwickshire, England, during the 19th Century. Finished needles were imported to the United States through Crowley & Sons offices in New York and Philadelphia and distributed to dealers nationwide. Alcester had been involved in the needle industry since the late 17th Century.
