100 Block, South Main Street, High Point : A UNC-Greensboro Class Project

Students in Dr. Christopher Graham's History of North Carolina Fall 2014 undergraduate class at UNC-Greensboro completed a class project using photographs from the High Point Museum. Students learned about historical research using primary sources and applied these methods to the 100 block of South Main Street in High Point. The students chose nine photographs which show South Main Street's development through the 1950s and demonstrate some themes in North Carolina history that they discussed in class. Each photograph has a caption written by the students.
